Our Story

Starehe's Founders understood that the future of Starehe would be secured by Starehe Alumni - the Old Boys & Young Women of the Starehe Schools. And so in 1969, Dr. Griffin personally established the Old Starehian Society (OSS). OSS was officially registered as a not-for-profit organization by the Registrar of Societies under Certificate Number 5676 dated 13th November 1970 and it operates under the Societies Act (Cap. 108)
