ABOUT US

The Old Starehian Society (OSS) is the alumni association for Starehe Boys’ Centre and Starehe Girls’ Centre. It brings together over 15,000 alumni under the vision of "A Starehe fraternity leading and transforming society." Its focus is to make a clear contribution to transforming the society we live in by offering leadership, service and support to the alumni, the Starehe Schools and the general society.

Established in 1970, the OSS mobilizes resources by leveraging on its vast wealth of vocational expertise, diversity of its networks and the strong bond of relationships amongst the alumni. It then channels these resources to the schools, the Endowment Trusts as well as its own programs geared towards achieving its mission.
